Blade tracking can be a thing of the past with this neat little trick. It just so happens that a Scorpion 5mm phillips driver is a perfect fit in the blade grip hole on 700 class helis. This works out great for checking zero pitch at mid-stick. They key here is to align the bit portion of the driver perfectly parallel down the center of the main shaft. This will ensure a precise zero pitch and keep you from having to track your blades later. Any brand driver will work for this exercise actually just make sure that it’s a very snug fit down through the blade bolt hole or you’ll get erroneous readings.
